Charles is 37 years old and lives in the ghettos.He is very unusual, older than all the other artists and has survived in and out
of institutions and the streets. Charles is a gifted artist with an inclination towards design in his work. He is a colorist and also a calligrapher. His themes are nature and religion. On meeting Charles in the streets, a humble man in a shabby coat, no one could believe the greatness of his artistic prowess.

Charles has struggled in life and his one great gift and consolation is to come to Alfajiri Centre where he has his own table to paint and draw for the day.This is his joy and his reason for being alive.
